Denzai, FTE partner to form JV heavy transport in KSA

Denzai Arabia, a Dezai K.K. company and Fawaz Ali Alshammari (FTE) have joined forces to form a JV heavy transport company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kohki Uemura, CEO of Denzai K.K. said. The partnership was prompted by a rising number of wind power construction, crane operations and heavy lifting operations in the region. Denzai set up its KSA unit in 2023, and the 50-50 JV with FTE and a major local port and heavy-lift company, will be able to provide a stable supply of high-value-added services. The JV is expected to be completed by June 2024. “The establishment of this JV with FTE Logistics, which has 25 years of experience in heavy lifting in KSA, will enable us to provide integrated construction services in KSA and the Middle East, from port transportation to installation work at project sites. Large-scale projects are underway to break away from dependence on oil, and we hope to contribute to the optimization of these projects by combining the management resources of the DENZAI Group and FTE Logistics,” Denzai commented. Earlier, Denzai Vietnam signed a MoU with Infinity Logistics to collaborate in heavy transport in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Under the MoU, Denzai Group and Infinity Logistics will cooperate in transportation and construction of onshore and offshore wind farms and oil and gas plant projects in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
