Turkish Airlines has reported an increase in cargo for the current year. The total number of passengers has increased by 16.6 per cent to 77.3 million compared to the same period of 2022. Cargo and mail carried by Turkish Airlines went from 138.3 thousand tonnes to over 153,000 tonnes, reflecting an increase of 11per cent. Cargo and mail carried during this period slightly decreased compared to 2022, going from 1.54 million tons to 1.50 million. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee, Turkish Airlines, said, “We are delighted to see a steady increase in our traffic figures year on year. These numbers are testament to the hard work of our team have been putting in behind the scenes to ensure all operations run smoothly and keep improving.
