Çelebi Aviation Holding signs women’s empowerment principles



“By supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, we wish to empower women in creating a sustainable and fair future,” Dave Dorner, CEO of Çelebi Aviation Group. “I would like to emphasise our focus on increasing diversity in the aviation industry and promoting the empowerment of women.


We have over 30 per cent female executives and 50 per cent female employees at our headquarters. Through the Women’s Empowerment Principles, we are committed to establishing a workplace that assesses and supports the female workforce, contributing to a more inclusive and prosperous world for everyone,” he added. Çelebi Aviation has concretised its for the empowerment of women in society, business and economic life through this strategic initiative.


The United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) are known as one of the most significant global initiatives of the private sector. Comprising seven fundamental principles, WEPs aim to strengthen the private sector’s efforts towards gender equality, develop corporate policies and programs and contribute to the analysis of ongoing initiatives, key indicators and reporting practices.
