Abu Dhabi strengthens supply chain resilience

The Chamber convened more than 80 entities across government and industry to address evolving global supply chain challenges and ensure uninterrupted trade flows. Key stakeholders included Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, Abu Dhabi Investment Office, Abu Dhabi Customs, and Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council.

Discussions focused on accelerating regulatory processes, mitigating rising input costs, and enhancing operational continuity. Participants also explored alternative trade routes and diversified sourcing strategies to strengthen supply chain agility. The meetings underscored the importance of data-driven decision-making, rapid response mechanisms, and stronger institutional coordination.

His Excellency Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of ADDED, highlighted Abu Dhabi’s proven resilience, stating that the emirate continues to turn global challenges into growth opportunities while ensuring efficient and reliable supply chains.

His Excellency Ali Mohamed Al Marzooqi, Director General of ADCCI, emphasised the value of sustained dialogue with the private sector to co-create practical solutions that support business continuity.

His Excellency Badr Al-Olama, Director General of ADIO, noted that strengthening partnerships will help transform challenges into high-value opportunities, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s global investment appeal.

His Excellency Rashid Lahej Al Mansoori, Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs, reaffirmed commitment to advancing a world-class customs ecosystem to facilitate trade and enhance supply chain efficiency.
