AD Ports Group and Economic Development Board of Madagascar (EDBM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on exploring commercial opportunities across maritime, industry and logistics sectors in Madagascar. Mohamed Eidha Al Menhali, Regional CEO, AD Ports Group, and Josielle Rafidy, General Manager, Economic Development Board of Madagascar, signed the agreement. Under the terms of the pact, the entities would focus on cooperation and mutual interest, free zones, ports, marina and cruise port facilities, digitalisation of logistics and maritime-related services. “As part of its mission to promote and facilitate investment, EDBM is delighted to have signed this MoU with AD Ports Group as it continues to implement its investment plan in Africa. The step confirms Madagascar remains a destination for FDI in Africa and the Indian Ocean,” Josielle Rafidy, General Manager, EDBM, said.
