Additional belly hold space on Etihad Cargo flights to Nairobi

In addition to operating a weekly freighter flight to Nairobi, Etihad Cargo will be offering additional belly capacity on daily passenger flights up to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

The flights are set to resume on May 1, 2024. Top products exported from Kenya include flowers, fruit and vegetables for the European, Middle Eastern and US markets. In fact, Kenya is the third largest producer and exporter of flowers in the world.

According to its social media post, “We recently welcomed the inaugural Astral Aviation flight to Abu Dhabi from Nairobi, commencing a regular weekly service that will further strengthen trade links between the UAE and Africa, catering to a wide range of cargo needs and fostering economic growth in both regions.”
