‘AI adoption inevitable in freight industry’: Kannan Nachiappan

According to Kannan Nachiappan, Managing Director & CEO, GSA Global Cargo LLC, said, “AI is definitely going to be part of the industry. I come from a time before emails—even before fax machines. I was resistant to using the fax at first, but eventually, I had no choice. The same thing happened with email, and now I can’t imagine working without it. AI is the next wave. It may be tough for some in the industry to adopt right away, but like past technologies, it will become essential. While the shift may be gradual, AI is expected to bring disruptive, transformative solutions. We may be slow to embrace it, but we’ll have to accept it. Ultimately, it will help improve the industry overall.”
