Al Rais Cargo is strengthening its warehousing and freight forwarder ops in Jafza to meet rising demand across Africa, the US, and Asia, said AS Farhan, Assistant GM, Al Rais Cargo. He said the company moves between 400 and 500 tonnes of cargo monthly, with Africa as the primary market. Most cargo flows in from the Far East and Europe before being re-exported to African destinations. The company runs two facilities in Jafza with a combined area of 12,000 sqm, including 8,000 sqm of built-up space. Together, they handle around 13,000 CBM, 8,500 pallet positions, significant volumes of white goods, and IT products. A third facility on the mainland supports air cargo and transit cargo.
