AmCham Oman and DHL Express are helping Oman’s SMEs build stronger trade links with larger companies, suppliers and potential partners. The initiative is aimed at helping small businesses find new commercial channels and connect with wider supply chains.

For SMEs, stronger links with larger companies can create opportunities to become suppliers, reach new customers and develop partnerships. Access to logistics and trade expertise can also help smaller firms understand cross-border requirements and explore new markets.

Yasser Al Lamki, Multichannel Territory Manager and SME Specialist at DHL Express, said the partnership helps local business owners “unlock new commercial channels” and connect with logistics and trade opportunities.

The SME Forum, delivered with Riyada, also provides business education, mentorship and access to expertise. This gives SMEs support in areas beyond funding, helping them build the relationships and knowledge needed to expand.

The initiative supports Oman’s wider SME sector by connecting smaller companies with established businesses and trade networks, helping increase their participation in local and international supply chains.
