Aramex has joined forces with Bahrain Post to launch Bahrain’s first nationwide network of electronic parcel boxes, a major milestone in the Kingdom’s logistics modernisation, said Yanal Anz, GM, Aramex Bahrain. “Our collaboration with Bahrain Post reflects a vision to build smart, efficient logistics infrastructure in the Kingdom. By integrating technology into the national delivery network, we are redefining how parcels move across Bahrain, ensuring reliability, scalability, and customer convenience in every shipment,” he said. The partnership integrates Aramex’s advanced logistics technology with Bahrain Post’s national infra to streamline last-mile delivery, reduce operational costs, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. The smart boxes provide automated, secure, and real-time tracked parcel collection, eliminating traditional delivery delays. Since e-commerce continues to surge across the GCC, with online retail sales projected to hit US$ 50 billion by this year-end, the innovation addresses demand for faster, contactless, and flexible delivery solutions. Analysts suggest automated parcel systems could reduce logistics costs by up to 30 per cent, while improving delivery accuracy and turnaround times.
