Aramex has partnered with Parcelat to integrate parcel lockers into its logistics operations in Saudi Arabia. The deal aims at improving last-mile delivery efficiency and reducing pressure on home delivery networks.
The partnership focuses on building a stronger logistics infrastructure by linking Aramex’s transport network with Parcelat’s fixed locker points. This allows shipments to be routed to central pickup locations instead of repeated home delivery attempts, which often slow down operations and increase costs.
For logistics providers, the model improves delivery planning and route efficiency. Couriers can drop multiple parcels at locker hubs in one stop, instead of traveling to several individual addresses. This reduces fuel use, delivery time, and failed delivery rates.
It also helps manage growing e-commerce volumes in the region. As online orders increase, last-mile networks face higher pressure, especially in dense urban areas. Locker-based delivery adds capacity without expanding door-to-door fleets at the same rate.
The system also supports better tracking and parcel flow control within logistics networks. It gives operators more predictable delivery cycles and helps balance peak-time demand across distribution routes.
