Arcapita plans $1.5bn investment in GCC industrial logistics platform

Arcapita Group plans to invest an additional US$1.5 billion in industrial and logistics real estate across the GCC over the next 24 months, targeting the development and acquisition of assets to support the region’s growing supply chain and warehousing requirements.
The investment programme will focus on build-to-suit industrial and logistics facilities to meet the operational requirements of regional and international businesses. The initiative will be supported by Lintara Properties, Arcapita’s dedicated industrial and logistics real estate development and asset management platform. Isa Al Khalifa, Managing Director and Head of MENA Real Estate at Arcapita and CEO of Lintara Properties, highlighted the growing demand for modern industrial and logistics infrastructure as businesses prioritise supply chain resilience, regional self-sufficiency and operational continuity. He also noted opportunities to address the gap through quality logistics facilities across several GCC markets.
Hisham Al Raee, CEO of Arcapita, said the planned investment reflects the firm’s confidence in the GCC’s long-term growth, driven by economic diversification, infrastructure development and rising demand for supply chain capabilities. The additional investment will build on Arcapita’s existing portfolio of more than US$2 billion in assets under management in the sector.
