Atlas air joins Etihad Cargo to enhance 777f capacity

Atlas Air has signed a new long-term partnership with Etihad Cargo. Michael Steen, CEO, Atlas Air Worldwide, said, under the agreement, Atlas Air will operate a new Boeing 777 freighter dedicated to Etihad Cargo with services on routes — Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and Madrid. The partnership comes amid rising demand for general cargo, e-commerce, automotive, pharma and perishables across the Middle East, Asia and Europe. “Etihad Cargo’s expanded collaboration with Atlas Air represents a step in scaling capacity and extending our global reach,” said Stanislas Brun, Chief Cargo Officer, Etihad Airways. The 777F, the world’s largest twin-engine freighter with a payload capacity of over 100 tonnes and enhances Etihad Cargo’s operational agility, reliability and sustainability.
