Autoworld International FZCO is investing AED 45 million in a new 162,000 sq. ft logistics and assembly facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), informed Vishal Kumar Lakhani, Director, Autoworld. The new hub will support growing demand for two-and three-wheelers across the Middle East and Africa, with assembly lines, storage and distribution space for vehicles, parts, and lubricants. The facility is scheduled for completion by 2026. “Jafza’s connectivity, infrastructure and business-friendly environment have helped us serve high-growth markets across Africa and the GCC since 2008,” Lakhani said. “Autoworld’s expansion underscores the strength of Jafza’s integrated trade and logistics ecosystem linking 940 automotive firms from 88 countries,” said Abdulla Al Hashmi, CEO, Parks and Zones, DP World GCC.
