Bahrain based Texel Air introduces 737-800BCF into its fleet

Bahrain based Texel Air is modernizing its fleet, replacing its oldest Boeing 737-300F with a newly converted 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF), leased from AerCap and recently converted in China. The upgrade aims to unify their global fleet and enhance operational efficiency. With broader destination access and increased payload capacity of up to 23.9 tonnes, Texel Air anticipates improved service and flexibility for its charter operations. Texel Air, headquartered at Bahrain International Airport, was the first Middle East operator to incorporate the 737-800BCF in its fleet in January 2022. Alongside this addition, Texel Air’s fleet includes two other B737-800BCF aircraft, one B737-300F being replaced, and two 737-700 FlexCombi aircraft.
