Capital A expands logistics footprint in KSA

Capital A Bhd will launch its Teleport logistics arm in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, partnering with the Kingdom’s logistics hubs and free-trade zones to build streamlined cargo corridors, Tony Fernandes, CEO, AirAsia, said. By leveraging AirAsia’s extensive belly-hold capacity, Teleport aims to position KSA as a key transshipment gateway for goods moving between Asia, Europe and Africa. “The potential of the new Riyadh route, forecasting it to serve nearly one million two-way passengers by 2026 and over seven million by 2030, reflecting strong demand for connectivity between ASEAN and the Gulf region,” Fernandes added.
