CargoAi, Descartes partner to streamline air cargo booking

CargoAi has announced an integration with Descartes Systems Group’s Global Price Management (GPM) solution to transform the way freight forwarders manage air cargo bookings and pricing. Scott Sangster, GM for Logistics Service Providers at Descartes, said, “The Descartes GPM solution helps companies elevate the customer experience, reduce operational stress, and maximize shipment margins. With the CargoAi integration, customers can more efficiently and transparently search, compare, quote, and book capacity directly from Descartes GPM.” Through the integration, CargoAi’s CargoCONNECT Quote & Book API is now embedded into Descartes’ platform, giving LSPs access to real-time data and faster decision-making tools. The solution will provide direct connectivity with over 105 airlines and access to over 680 flight schedules. This combination of reach and automation aims to simplify one of the most labour-intensive aspects of air cargo management: rate comparison and booking.
