Chapman Freeborn has successfully handled the delivery of oversized industrial equipment from Belgium to China, said Yoann Maugran, Sales Manager France, Chapman Freeborn Airchartering BV. The equipment, including welded tubes for industrial heat exchangers, weighs 700 kg and is 20 metres long. It was nose-loaded into a Boeing 747-400F at Liege Airport, Belgium and flown by cargo part-charter to Zhengzhou, China. “Oversized freight is the most challenging part of our business but also the most rewarding, when a mission is successfully completed,” he added. The project underlines Chapman Freeborn’s expertise in managing time-critical and oversized cargo demonstrating operational precision and flexibility.
