China Eastern Airlines will launch direct flights, two frequencies, between Muscat International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport from 30 November, said Ahmed bin Saeed Al Amri, CEO, Oman Airports. Oman Airports stated it will also enhance cargo and logistics services as part of its effort to strengthen international trade flows. The route is expected to facilitate smoother cargo operations between Oman and China, helping exporters and importers take advantage of the improved connectivity. “The direct route will strengthen investment opportunities and enhance Oman’s position as a regional hub for aviation and logistics,” Al Amri added.
