CSC launches norms for drone cybersecurity in UAE

The UAE Cybersecurity Council (CSC) unveiled drone cybersecurity norms along with Reach Digital and Shieldworkz, aiming to enhance cybersecurity and protection technologies for drone operations, said Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head, UAE Cybersecurity. “These guidelines represent a milestone in enhancing the nation’s UAV ecosystem, ensuring that drone operations across government, commercial, and industrial sectors are resilient, secure, and aligned with global best practices. With increasing UAV deployment across sectors from agriculture, environmental monitoring to logistics cybersecurity risks must be proactively addresses to protect airspace, infrastructure, and data integrity,” he added.
