DHL Supply Chain Türkiye and Biogen Türkiye have expanded their partnership to strengthen temperature-controlled healthcare logistics in Türkiye, supporting the safe and timely delivery of treatments. The move comes as reliable cold chain services remain important to healthcare supply chains across the Middle East and surrounding markets.

Buket Cox, General Manager of DHL Supply Chain Türkiye, said: “In the healthcare and life sciences sector, logistics means much more than just the movement of products. Every delivery could be supporting a patient whose uninterrupted access to treatment depends on it.”

The expanded agreement builds on a warehousing arrangement launched last year. Biogen’s products are managed at DHL’s facility on the European side of Istanbul, where they are stored at temperatures between 2°C and 8°C.

DHL will also deliver temperature-sensitive treatments to healthcare facilities across Türkiye using vehicles fitted with temperature-control and real-time tracking systems. The company has expanded its fleet of temperature-controlled vehicles to support the increased scope of operations.

The arrangement brings storage, warehouse management and distribution under a more integrated system, helping maintain product quality throughout the supply chain and supporting reliable deliveries to healthcare facilities.
