DHL Supply Chain will invest €130 million (about $149 million) to build a major new logistics and distribution hub in Riyadh. The facility will be located in the Special Integrated Logistics Zone (SILZ). It will cover a large land area of 78,000 sqm and include 53,000 sqm of warehouse space. Construction will start in early 2026 and finish by mid-2027. This project is part of a bigger €500 million investment plan for the Middle East.

The new hub is designed to support Saudi Arabia’s goal of becoming a global logistics centre.  DHL Supply Chain leaders said the facility will help companies move their goods faster across the region. They believe it will improve supply chain strength and encourage international businesses to place their distribution centres in Saudi Arabia. The hub will also support trade between Asia, Europe, and Africa.
