In an interview with CargoTalk Middle East, Matthieu Petot, Founder and CEO, CargoAi, said it is working to make air cargo simpler and more connected through one digital system.

How is CargoAi making air freight booking easier and reducing manual work?

At CargoAi, we are building a unified digital layer for air cargo operations. This includes instant eBooking across 105+ airlines, real-time shipment and CO₂ tracking, and integrated payment capabilities via CargoWALLET. By consolidating these functions into one environment and connecting directly to TMS systems, we eliminate manual tasks such as emails, spreadsheets, and double entry. This significantly reduces operational workload while improving speed, accuracy, and end-to-end visibility. 

How does CargoAi make air cargo pricing more accurate and transparent?

CargoAi brings structure and transparency to air cargo pricing by aggregating real-time airline data into a single platform. Users access live rates, schedules, and availability across a global network, enabling instant comparison. Our Rate Management System and Strategic Hub allow teams to manage contract rates, apply internal pricing strategies, and benchmark performance. With tools such as AVG Live Rate and AI-powered market insights, every quotation is aligned with real airline-filed data. What AI-based tools are you currently using? 

Our CargoCoPilot AI Agent, available in CargoMART and via API integrations, acts as a conversational assistant to search rates, generate quotes, create bookings, and track shipments in real time. In parallel, the CargoCoPilot API extracts shipment data from emails and documents, converting unstructured inputs into ready-to-book shipments. Our Email Plugin enables one-click booking directly from inboxes. We also provide predictive tracking and alerts across 240+ airlines to anticipate disruptions.

What new features are underway at CargoAi?

By end of April, MCP will connect CargoAi to ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot, enabling users to access their account, receive recommendations, and execute operations directly from these environments.
