Sharjah Airport and Air Arabia have announced the launch of the first direct flights between Sharjah and Poland. This new air route aims to enhance cargo transport options. The flights will initially operate three weekly flights between Sharjah and Kraków, with plans to increase frequency in the future. Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), and Jakub Kacper Sławek, Ambassador of Poland to the UAE, inaugurated the new cargo route. “The launch of this air route meets the growing demand in the cargo market between the UAE and Poland. It aligns with the expansion of mutual economic and commercial relations,” Al Midfa said. Their introduction is likely to strengthen Sharjah Airport’s role as a key hub for international cargo transport, supporting the UAE’s strategic position in global trade networks.
