dnata upgrades Dubai cargo control centre

dnata has upgraded its cargo control centre in Dubai into a Cargo Integrated Command Centre (CICC), giving teams near real-time visibility of cargo operations across Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC). The system refreshes operational data every 10 seconds and supports faster decisions on cargo, capacity and resources.

The centre oversees an operation that handled more than one million tonnes of cargo, 189,000 flight movements and 46,000 truck movements in the 2025-26 financial year. The CICC brings data from dnata’s One Cargo management system, Appointment and Dock Management system and Calogi cargo community platform into one view. This allows teams to track cargo activity, truck movements and landside operations across the two airports.

For cargo operators, the system can help identify bottlenecks earlier and improve coordination between facilities and teams. This can support a smoother flow of cargo through warehouses and strengthen handling efficiency as volumes grow.
