Dubai Chamber facilitates Al Sharqi logistics

Dubai Chamber of Commerce has supported the expansion of Dubai-based logistics provider Al Sharqi Shipping into Kenya and Uganda. By setting up offices in Kenya and Uganda — the logistics firm aims to extend its solutions across African markets — investing in customs clearance capabilities and local trucking infrastructure. This support comes as part of Dubai Chambers’ mission to help local businesses tap into high-potential international markets. Kashif Rafiq, CEO of Al Sharqi Shipping and Board Member of Al Sharqi Holding, said, “Al Sharqi Shipping has been connecting businesses with trade through logistics and freight solutions since 1989.” Established in 1989, Al Sharqi Shipping offers supply chain management, freight forwarding and cargo consolidation services.
