Dubai Chambers and FedEx have signed an MoU to help Dubai-based businesses expand into international markets through improved logistics support, export guidance and trade services. The partnership will provide companies with tools to manage cross-border shipments more efficiently and access new markets.
The agreement focuses on helping businesses, including small and medium-sized enterprises, overcome challenges linked to international trade. Through the collaboration, companies will receive support with logistics solutions, customs advisory services, streamlined onboarding and trade facilitation processes.
Nitin Tatiwala, Vice President, Marketing, Customer Experience and Air Network at FedEx Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa, said, “By combining our extensive global network, logistics expertise and digital capabilities with Dubai Chambers' strong business ecosystem, we are helping companies simplify cross-border trade, strengthen their export readiness and confidently access new international opportunities."
The partnership combines FedEx’s global transportation network and logistics expertise with Dubai Chambers’ business ecosystem to improve export readiness among local companies. It also includes support for ATA Carnet services, which help businesses move goods temporarily across borders for activities such as exhibitions and events.
The initiative is expected to make international trade processes simpler for companies and improve their ability to connect with customers and markets worldwide. The collaboration supports efforts to strengthen Dubai’s role as a global trade hub and encourage the international growth of local businesses. The partnership is also aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to expand Dubai’s economy by supporting businesses, attracting investment and developing a stronger digital economy.
