Dubai Chambers has signed four agreements with Chinese chambers of commerce in Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Chongqing to strengthen trade ties between Dubai and China and support the movement of goods between the two markets.

The agreements aim to improve connections between the two sides and create opportunities for trade and investment. Stronger links can support cargo flows between China and Dubai, benefiting freight forwarders, transport operators and warehousing providers.

China supplies the UAE with a wide range of goods, including electronics, machinery, textiles and consumer products. Closer trade ties can help strengthen these supply chains and support the movement of goods through Dubai to markets across the Middle East and Africa.

Improved cooperation between the chambers can also help companies identify trade opportunities and build relationships with potential partners in the two countries. This can support the flow of goods and improve access to suppliers and customers.

H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, president and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said: “We are committed to strengthening ties between Dubai’s business community and priority markets and building effective partnerships that enable the exploration of promising trade and investment opportunities.”
