Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and DP World signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance cooperation in trade and logistics integration. The partnership aims to enhance supply chain connectivity, streamline cargo flows, and strengthen Dubai’s position as a leading global logistics hub.
Through the MoU, both entities will collaborate on developing smart, digital platforms to improve coordination between transport and logistics services. This will help optimise cargo movement across ports, roads, and warehouses, ensuring greater efficiency and faster turnaround times for goods.
The agreement also supports Dubai’s efforts to build a seamless logistics network that connects key stakeholders in the supply chain, from shippers and transport operators to customs and warehouse providers. By leveraging digital transformation, the partnership seeks to promote sustainable trade growth and improve the emirate’s global competitiveness.
RTA and DP World emphasised that the collaboration will play a pivotal role in enhancing Dubai’s readiness for the future of trade, enabling smarter logistics operations, and reinforcing its reputation as a global gateway for commerce and innovation.
