Dubai Trade is upgrading its Digital Delivery Order (DDO) platform to Trade+, aiming to enhance efficiency and speed across the emirate’s supply chain and logistics sectors. Trade+ enables seamless digital exchange of cargo release documents among shipping lines, freight forwarders, consignees, and other stakeholders, drastically accelerating the cargo release process.
Accessible through the Dubai Trade Single Window for Trade and Logistics, the platform reduces transaction times by up to 90%, allowing businesses to process higher trade volumes and expedite cross-border operations. Tasks that previously took up to 48 hours can now be completed in under 10 minutes, marking a significant step forward in trade efficiency.
In addition to streamlining approvals, payments, and document transfers, Trade+ offers significant environmental benefits by eliminating paper-based processes. By enabling 100% paperless transactions, the service saved an estimated 2.36 million documents from being printed in 2024, significantly reducing carbon emissions linked to travel, fuel consumption, and congestion.
