Dubai International Airport (DXB) processed 517,000 tonnes of cargo in Q1 2025, a decline of 3.6 per cent year-on-year, Dubai Airports reported. The decline reflected global supply chain disruptions and geopolitical tensions, said Paul Griffiths, CEO, Dubai Airports. “Our first quarter performance sets a strong foundation for the year ahead. Delivering the busiest month in DXB’s history while maintaining exceptional service levels. It requires precision, agility, and an extraordinary team effort,” Griffiths said.
