Egypt, AD Ports to strengthen logistics to boost regional trade

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Egypt has signed an agreement with AD Ports Group (AD Ports) and TCM to explore a plan focused on strengthening logistics between Egypt and the UAE. During a meeting in Abu Dhabi, Karim Badawi,  Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum, discussed opportunities to leverage Egypt’s advanced energy infrastructure to develop value-added logistics services and support regional trade flows, in line with the ministry’s integrated strategy. Badawi highlighted, “The deal aligns with the state’s commitment to maximise economic returns in port operations, maritime and logistics services, economic zones, and digital solutions.” The agreement aims to maximise economic returns through enhanced utilisation of economic zones and digital solutions.
