Egypt is planning a large industrial and logistics complex near the New Administrative Capital after Administrative Capital for Urban Development partnered with Polaris Parks for Industrial Development. The project will cover about 1.8 million square metres along the Ain Sokhna Road and will combine manufacturing with logistics facilities such as warehouses, distribution centres and support services.
The development is expected to attract more than $120 million in investments and create around 15,000 direct and indirect jobs. The primary objective of the complex is to strengthen logistics operations for companies operating in and around the capital. By placing manufacturing units close to storage, handling and distribution facilities, the project is expected to reduce transport time and make supply chains more efficient.
Industries targeted for the complex include food production, engineering, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and cosmetics. These sectors often require strong logistics networks to manage storage, packaging and delivery, especially for products that need controlled handling or quick transport.
The location along Ain Sokhna Road is also important for cargo movement. The corridor connects industrial areas with ports on the Red Sea, helping companies move goods to export markets and receive imported materials faster.
