Emirates SkyCargo transported more than 57,000 tonnes of exports from the UK during FY2025-26, an 11% increase from the previous year, as demand for British products grew across the Middle East and other international markets. The airline's Dubai hub continues to strengthen trade links between the UK and the region.

The carrier operates more than 140 weekly flights from eight UK airports, enabling exporters to move aerospace components, pharmaceuticals and perishable goods to the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australasia. Between April and June 2026, UK export volumes also rose 7% year on year.

From January to June 2026, Emirates SkyCargo transported over 570 tonnes of aircraft parts and aerospace components and more than 1,600 tonnes of pharmaceuticals. Perishable exports remained strong, including over 1,500 tonnes of Scottish shellfish and 1,200 tonnes of smoked salmon. More than 1,000 tonnes of food products, including 250 tonnes of strawberries and over 150 tonnes of cheese, were shipped from the UK to the UAE.
