EMSTEEL Group and Oldendorff Carriers have signed a five-year freight agreement to secure the transport of approximately 5.2 million tonnes of iron ore pellets annually to the UAE. Valued at around AED 600 million, the deal ensures reliable, efficient, and coordinated supply chain operations for EMSTEEL’s raw materials.
The partnership, built over more than 20 years, emphasises operational reliability and seamless logistics. Oldendorff Carriers will continue managing bulk shipments, providing EMSTEEL with a consistent link between suppliers and production facilities. This enables timely deliveries, smooth coordination, and strong oversight across the supply chain, supporting the UAE’s steel production and broader industrial growth.
Eng. Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Group CEO of EMSTEEL, said, “This long-term agreement reaffirms our commitment to trusted partners who share our focus on efficiency and performance in our logistics operations.” The renewed deal highlights both companies’ dedication to robust supply chains, operational reliability, and long-term collaboration, underpinning the continued development of the UAE’s industrial and infrastructure sectors.
