Etihad Cargo has announced a major expansion of its freighter network for the winter 2025 season, adding new routes and increasing flight frequencies across key global markets, disclosed Stanislas Brun, Chief Cargo Officer. The airline will launch two new weekly freighters linking Abu Dhabi to East Midlands in the UK, starting 27 October, enhancing access to one of Europe’s main distribution hubs. Capacity will rise across major Asian production markets, with more flights to Shanghai, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Ezhou. Network growth includes more weekly services to Riyadh, Paris, and Frankfurt, strengthening trade linkage between the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. The expanded schedule will reinforce Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global logistics hub.
