Etihad Cargo has announced a major capacity expansion in Greater China, increasing weekly flights from 11 in 2024 to 18 in 2025, Stanislas Brun, Chief Cargo Officer, Etihad Cargo, said.  The move aims to meet rising demand and boost trade links between China, Europe, and the Middle East. The expansion includes three new freighters to Shenzhen and two to London, supported by a wet-leased 747F. This enhanced network will provide greater flexibility for shipping e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, perishables, and other key cargo.  “The introduction of the additional capacity and flights to Shenzhen and London Stansted demonstrate our commitment to meeting customer demand with increasing availability and connectivity across key trade routes,” Brun added.
