Etihad Cargo has once again proven its strong focus on quality in temperature-sensitive logistics by achieving the IATA CEIV Pharma re-certification for the fourth time. This recognition shows that the airline continues to meet the highest global standards for safely handling and transporting pharmaceutical products.
To secure the re-certification, Etihad Cargo successfully met more than 300 audit checks. These checks looked at how well the airline maintains quality, follows safety rules, and ensures smooth operations across every step of the pharma supply chain. Passing the audit highlights the consistency and reliability Etihad Cargo delivers to customers who depend on safe and steady temperature control.
The airline’s Products Team has also reached a major milestone by holding all four key IATA CEIV certifications: Pharma, Fresh, Live Animals, and Lithium Batteries. This makes Etihad Cargo one of the few carriers with proven expertise in managing a wide range of sensitive and specialised shipments.
From medicines and perishable goods to live animals and dangerous items like lithium batteries, every product is handled with care, coordination, and strict standards. Etihad Cargo says these achievements reflect its ongoing commitment to supporting global healthcare and ensuring customers receive trusted, high-quality service across all operations.
