Etihad Cargo welcomes Indian team to its Singapore operations



Etihad Cargo recently welcomed a delegation led by Piyush Srivastava, Additional Secretary of India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation, a press release stated. Members of Mumbai and Delhi airports (Adani and GMR), FICCI, AAICLAS, ACFI and ADB to Singapore to share insights from Singapore’s flourishing air cargo operations. The visit sought to identify innovative methodologies with the potential to elevate the quality and efficiency of cargo throughput within India’s rapidly expanding aviation landscape. Latha Narayan, Director Commercial for Asia Pacific, Australasia and Indian Sub-Continent, Sam Gould Head of dnata Singapore, and Krishna Kumar, CEO of Speedcargo Technologies, showcased cutting-edge AI-powered technology developed and implemented in collaboration with Etihad Cargo’s partners. This included a warehouse tour, which gave delegates firsthand exposure to real-life operations and logistics. The delegates had significant takeaways for India and now aim to leverage these insights to further enhance India’s aviation capabilities.
