Fast Logistics has successfully completed the transport and import of a 20ft reefer container carrying premium Mazafati dates from Iran to India, highlighting its expertise in perishable and temperature-controlled logistics. The shipment was handled under strict cold-chain conditions, with continuous temperature monitoring to ensure product integrity throughout the journey.
Owing to the sensitivity of soft dates to heat and humidity, the cargo was moved by ocean freight using a reefer container, allowing stable temperature control, proper ventilation, and secure handling from origin to destination. Alongside temperature management, regulatory compliance was another key factor in the shipment’s movement. Clearing dates into India requires meeting strict food safety and import rules, including FSSAI approval, phytosanitary and origin certificates, and accurate labeling and packaging details.
The operation reflects Fast Logistics’ growing capabilities in managing food-grade cargo, including reefer container management, regulatory compliance, and end-to-end shipment coordination. By maintaining control at every stage of the supply chain, the company ensured the cargo arrived in India in optimal condition and ready for market distribution. As global trade in temperature-sensitive goods continues to expand, dependable cold-chain logistics has become increasingly important. Fast Logistics plans to continue investing in perishable cargo solutions to support reliable supply chains, reduce spoilage, and meet rising market demand across key trade lanes.
