Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ) and FedEx Logistics have inaugurated a 1,249 sqm regional logistics facility at Ras Bufontas Free Zone, commented His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Faisal Al-Thani, CEO, QFZ. Strategically located near Hamad International Airport and Hamad Port, the facility integrates warehousing, storage and office spaces, linking regional businesses to FedEx’s global network across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and North America.
It provides end-to-end solutions for sectors including retail, automotive, and technology, and streamlines freight forwarding, customs brokerage and air cargo operations. “We are proud to welcome FedEx Logistics to our thriving logistics ecosystem, home to four of the world’s top 10 logistics providers,” he added. “Establishing this facility in Qatar enables us to connect our Qatari and regional customers to major markets in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America with greater speed and efficiency,” said Patrick Moebel, President, FedEx Logistics.
