FedEx has introduced its FedEx Surround® Monitoring and Intervention Suite in Saudi Arabia, giving businesses tools to track and manage critical shipments using AI-based data and near real-time visibility. The service is designed for sectors including healthcare, high-tech, aerospace, automotive and industrial goods where timely delivery is important.
The technology will help companies identify possible shipment delays or risks earlier and take action while goods are in transit. By using shipment data, sensor information and external factors such as weather conditions, the system can support better planning and improve supply chain reliability.
The solution offers three service levels, including shipment visibility, priority handling and dedicated support for critical cargo. It also supports packages and heavyweight freight shipments.
“FedEx is equipping businesses in Saudi Arabia with smarter, data-driven capabilities that strengthen resilience and support informed decision-making,” said Nitin Tatiwala, Vice President Marketing, Customer Experience, and Air Network for FedEx Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa.
The launch comes as Saudi Arabia’s trade volumes continue to grow, increasing demand for digital logistics solutions that can help businesses manage cross-border shipments more efficiently. FedEx said the service supports the country’s efforts to build more resilient logistics capabilities under Vision 2030.
