Ghassan Aboud Automotive has launched Grand Auto & Machinery Co. (GAMCO) in Syria to improve automotive logistics and equipment supply for transport and infrastructure sectors, supporting rebuilding efforts and wider regional supply chain connectivity in the Middle East.

The new company will focus on automotive logistics support, including distribution of commercial vehicles and machinery, spare parts supply, and after-sales services to improve fleet operations and reduce downtime.

The development is expected to improve how vehicles and machinery are maintained and moved across Syria, helping logistics operators keep supply chains active for freight transport, construction, and industrial activities across domestic and cross-border routes in the region.

By improving access to servicing and replacement parts, the initiative can support smoother movement of goods and equipment, which is important for logistics links connecting Syria with wider Middle East trade corridors.

GAMCO will also introduce mobile service units and regional support facilities to bring maintenance services closer to operational sites.

This is expected to reduce breakdown-related delays and improve efficiency in logistics and transport operations. The expansion is aimed at strengthening automotive and logistics support systems in Syria and improving vehicle uptime, service access, and supply chain reliability across key economic sectors in the region.
