Gargash Prime, JD.com arm plan Dubai logistics hub

Gargash Prime and JD.com’s infrastructure arm, JINGDONG Property, plan to develop a 2.5 million sq ft logistics facility in Dubai under a proposed joint venture. The hub will support goods distribution and order fulfilment across the UAE and wider Middle East, adding capacity to the region’s logistics network.
The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of the Dubai Business Forum – China in Shenzhen. The project will combine JINGDONG Property’s logistics and technology capabilities with Gargash Prime’s local expertise to develop infrastructure for regional supply chains.
The facility comes as Dubai strengthens its role as a link between Asian markets and the Middle East, with demand for logistics infrastructure supporting cross-border trade and distribution.
Feng Guo, CEO of JD.com Middle East, said: “Together with Gargash Prime, we will combine JINGDONG Property’s technology and logistics capabilities with strong local expertise to develop a hub that supports more efficient and resilient supply chains in the UAE and across the wider region.”
JINGDONG Property manages more than 300 infrastructure assets globally, covering over 28 million square metres of gross floor area. The planned development will expand Gargash Prime’s presence in logistics real estate and support Dubai’s ambitions to grow as a global trade hub.
