GFH Partners Manrre REIT and Palmon Group have opened a new temperature-controlled chemical warehouse in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), adding specialised storage capacity to Dubai’s logistics sector, said Kunal Lahori, CEO, Palmon Group and Board Member, Manrre. The facility is now fully operational and has been leased to Safe Logistics.
“Specialised chemical storage requires a high degree of control and risk management, and we have developed this warehouse to meet those expectations while offering flexibility and scalability for tenants,” Lahori said.
The warehouse is built on a 180,000 sqft plot and has a built-up area of about 112,000 sq ft. It is designed specifically for storing chemicals that require controlled temperatures and strict safety measures. The building is divided into three chambers, each meant for different classes of chemicals, allowing a wide range of regulated materials to be handled at one site.
The facility includes fire safety systems, multiple loading docks and space for more than 17,000 pallets. Office space has been kept minimal so that most of the area can be used for storage and operations. This setup is aimed at supporting manufacturers, energy companies and logistics firms operating in and around the UAE.
Jafza plays a key role in Dubai’s trade and industrial activity, linking regional supply chains with global markets. The new warehouse comes as demand grows across the Middle East for certified chemical storage, driven by industrial expansion and stricter safety requirements. The project adds to Dubai’s position as a regional hub for specialised logistics and regulated cargo handling.
