LODD Autonomous is taking UAE-built aviation technology to Asia with its “Hili” autonomous aircraft. The company has partnered with ST Engineering to export Hili, designed for unmanned air-cargo operations, to Asia-Pacific markets. The deal, signed by LODD CEO Rashid Matar Al Manai and ST Engineering’s Teong Soo Soon, highlights growing confidence in Hili as a reliable, scalable platform for autonomous cargo transport.

The Hili aircraft is part of the UAE’s push into next-generation aviation technologies. It is designed to operate without pilots, offering efficient, cost-effective cargo delivery for regional and international markets. By exporting Hili to Asia, LODD Autonomous aims to tap into a rapidly growing demand for unmanned cargo solutions while showcasing UAE innovation on a global stage.

The collaboration with ST Engineering also strengthens operational and technological support, allowing LODD to expand more quickly and adapt Hili to different regional regulations and operational needs. The partnership reflects a strategic focus on combining local UAE innovation with global expertise to scale autonomous aviation solutions efficiently.

LODD Autonomous sees this as a step toward building a strong presence in the international autonomous air-cargo sector, positioning UAE technology as a competitive player in next-generation logistics and aviation markets.
