Honeywell, GAL join hands to accelerate defence logistics

Honeywell and Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL) signed a three-year pact aimed at cutting repair times and tightening logistics coordination for the UAE’s Joint Aviation Command and Air Force and Air Defense (AFAD), said Abdelrahman AlHammadi, Acting CEO, GAL. The deal centres on improving the movement and turnaround of Honeywell’s T55 turboshaft engines and environmental control systems, giving military operators quicker access to critical components and reducing downtime. “Through our collaboration with GAL, we are eliminating long wait times and bringing a faster, more efficient repair model to the region,” he added.
