IAG Cargo has been appointed as the ground handling agent for Qatar Airways Cargo at the Dublin International Airport. From now on, all cargo from Qatar Airways’ 17 weekly belly-hold flights between Dublin and Doha will be processed through IAG Cargo’s facility in Dublin. The initiative will strengthen cooperation between the two carriers and expand IAG Cargo’s third-party handling services.
Mark Drusch, Chief Officer Cargo at Qatar Airways Cargo, said the airline is focused on working with strong partners to ensure reliable and high-quality handling for customers in Ireland and beyond.
The agreement is part of the wider Global Cargo Joint Business announced in 2025 between IAG Cargo, MASkargo and Qatar Airways Cargo. By bringing ground handling under one operator in Dublin, the airlines aim to improve service quality, ensure smoother operations and offer more consistent handling for customers.
Dublin plays an important role in IAG Cargo’s network, and the latest appointment follows the company’s recent third-party handling expansion, including MASkargo operations at London Heathrow.
David Shepherd, CEO of IAG Cargo, said the partnership reflects the trust global airlines place in its operational expertise and added that Dublin’s connectivity will help support Qatar Airways Cargo’s services.
