IATA has opened an office in Abu Dhabi, which also has a new training centre. This move underscores IATA’s commitment to supporting the Middle East’s expanding aviation and logistics industry and developing the next generation of aviation professionals, H.E. Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General, General Civil Aviation Authority, UAE, said. “The expansion of IATA’s presence in the UAE with a new training centre reinforces the country’s position as a global aviation hub. Having a key global organisation such as IATA expand its footprint here demonstrates the attractiveness of Abu Dhabi and its value proposition as a preferred destination for global organisations,” H.E. Suwaidi added.
