Companies certified by Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology’s (MoIAT) National In-Country Value (ICV) Program can avail special rates on shipping and miles to move cargo in bellyhold on Etihad Airways flights from 1 July-1 October 2023. The move comes as part of a tie-up between MoIAT and the airlines, which was announced at Make it in the Emirates Forum in May. ICV-certified companies (companies operating inside or outside the UAE can apply for an ICV certificate as per norms) will benefit from access to the airways wide network. This access will enable the firms to explore new global markets for their local products. Also, they will have the opportunity to earn miles for onboard flights during a two-month period, beginning from August 1 and lasting until September-end.
